Green tea now can add another feather in its hat for helping our health. Benign uterine fibroids, which effect 40% of all reproductive-age women, cause excessive bleeding, anemia and fatigue. They also make it more difficult to conceive.

Now researchers at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tn report that green tea extract has killed the fibroids. Also, the extract has been able to eliminate fibroid lesions in animals. More human trials are scheduled for the future.
