The goal is relaxing the entire body and this is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart.  Additional techniques include circular pressure applied by the hands and palms, firm kneading, percussion-like tapping, and stretching.  Essential Oils are often used to reduce friction and stimulate the skin.

Since I have fibromyalgia, my heart goes out to these people. I have chosen massage for my treatment and I want to help others with this condition. The touch used in this treatment is regulated to the patient’s tolerance, whether it is light or deep. This treatment may provide relief from insomnia, tense muscles, joint and muscle pain, flare-ups, tension, stress, anxiety, headaches and cognitive difficulties, to list a few. Are There Times When Massage During Pregnancy Should Be Avoided?

It is very important you obtain approval from your obstetrician before receiving any form of massage during pregnancy. Women with normal, low-risk pregnancies can benefit greatly from massage .  However, women in high-risk pregnancies should consult with their doctor or midwife before beginning one of our massage therapy programs. If at any time during the massage you experience discomfort, tell me immediately.

Ear Candling / ½ hour Lymphatic Massage $75.00

A natural way of cleaning your ears accompanied with a one-half hour lymphatic massage. The massage is on the head, neck and face areas in order to prepare the areas for drainage. Lymphatic Massage provides relief from sinusitis, problems with ear wax buildup and sinus headaches. Then it will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour for the Ear Candling.  You will see the ear wax and sinus drainage that has come out of your ear.  Pressure will be released and possibly some hearing returned.

Manuel Lymphatic Drainage/ Complete Decongestive Therapy

It also facilitates the movement of lymphatic fluid, aiding in the removal of toxins.
